Our mission is to be an independent, trusted voice working with individuals, communities, industry and government to create positive change, through reinvesting revenue generated from commercial activities, back into community development initiatives across the Greater Whitsunday Region.

Through innovative solutions, collaborative partnerships, and a commitment to inclusivity, we strive to empower individuals and uplift communities, ensuring they are equipped to overcome challenges and thrive in the face of adversity. We enable communities to improve their livability.
GWCommunities has a team of six staff, four of which work in the community, social and economic development project space. Our main footprint includes the Mackay, Isaac and Whitsunday Local Government Areas; however, we have the capacity to expand our reach across the Central and North Queensland areas.
