Clermont CONNECT Finishes 2022 on a high!

Congratulations to the Clermont CONNECT Board who have secured seed funding to establish and bring Clermont CONNECT to life. A generous contribution from Glencore Coal Assets Australia has enabled the appointment of Catherine Wilkes as Project Worker to build community memberships, secure sponsorships, establish operating procedures and be the community face of the organisation.

Clermont CONNECT is a community collaboration between Belyando Enterprise Network Inc, Clermont Community and Business Group, Clermont Men’s Shed and Greater Whitsunday Communities with the purpose of ensuring community connection and sustainable services and activities for the Clermont district into the future.

Greater Whitsunday Communities has continued to provide ongoing advice and support to the Board throughout 2022 and is very proud of having been on their journey and be part of their successes over the past 3 years. We look forward to seeing Clermont CONNECT grow in 2023 as they build new partnerships, gain funding for community programs  and enjoy further success.
