Carmila Community Health Day

After what were successful events in St Lawrence in 2019 and in Collinsville May 2021, Greater Whitsunday Communities once again partnered with the Isaac Regional Council (IRC) to conduct a Community Health Day in Carmila in October, as part of the IRC 2021 Senior Week celebrations. 22 health and community agencies from across the Mackay and Isaac Regions took part in the event with many locals participating in the day. This work is undertaken through our agreement with the Greater Whitsunday Council of Mayors to strengthen regional interconnectedness and cohesiveness.
