Greater Whitsunday Communities is committed to providing auspicing support to groups in our community to allow responsible participation of people in the decisions which affect their lives, through sharing our resources, information, skills and technology amongst people of the regional community
The Objectives of our auspicing service include:
To assist community groups to come together for a common cause in the field of social development and community service
To provide a formal process to enable them to address problems that concern them
To share the knowledge, skills and resources of GREATER WHITSUNDAY COMMUNITIES across the region
Auspice activities may include:
Grant Administration - Being the incorporated entity on funding applications.
Providing office space or access to other resources
Providing temporary access to human resource time and skillsets
