Peter Tait - Secretary and Treasurer

Peter is a third generation Mackay resident who actively supports his community seeking to ensure high level of support and services are available.  After working for 30 years as a Chartered Accountant, Peter retired from local firm, SH Tait & Co in 2016. He then took on the role as Treasurer, Company Secretary and Director of Greater Whitsunday Communities in December 2016.  Peter contributes to governance of other local organisations in the roles as Treasurer at The Neighbourhood Hub (George Street Neighbourhood Centre) since 2000 and Chairperson of Mackay Hospital Foundation since 2017.
